The Professional Oath
THE TJ-AERO PROFESSIONAL OATH
I understand that this platform exists so that aviation professionals can rely on one
another's word, and that the safety of flights, crews and passengers may depend on the
accuracy of what I contribute here. On my professional honour, I undertake that:
1. I will provide honest and accurate information to the best of my knowledge and belief,
and I will never knowingly submit information that is false, misleading, or fabricated.
2. The identity I register under is my own. The name, passport and credentials I supply are
genuine, current, and lawfully mine to present. I will not impersonate any other person
or organisation, nor allow anyone else to use my account.
3. Where I state a qualification, licence, rating, or employment history, it is true and I
hold the underlying documentation. I accept that my credentials may be verified.
4. When I share operational intelligence — airport information, fees, handling, security
observations, or similar — I will distinguish clearly between what I have witnessed
first-hand, what I have been told, and what I believe but cannot confirm.
5. I will correct or withdraw information I later find to be wrong, promptly and without
being asked.
6. I will treat other members with professional respect, will not misuse information or
documents shared with me in confidence, and will not use this platform to harass,
defraud, or endanger any person.
7. I accept that breaking this oath may result in the loss of contribution standing, the
suspension or permanent removal of my account, and — where my conduct causes harm to
others — that I alone am responsible for the consequences of what I choose to publish.
I take this oath freely, in my own name, and I understand that it is recorded together with
my identity details as a lasting record of my undertaking.
Your acceptance is recorded together with your name, email, passport number, IP address and the date and time of signing, and is retained as a permanent record of this agreement.
